Camino Nuevo

Camino Nuevo is a Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program (CDOP) operated by Acacia Network and its affiliate, PROMESA Inc. Located in Albany, it provides integrated, culturally responsive services to help adults (18+) who are in need of substance use services, including medication assisted treatment (M.A.T.).

Located at 175 Central Avenue in Albany, our services include:

  • Substance use counseling (individual and group)
  • Medicated assisted treatment (MAT)
  • Mental health counseling (individual, group, and family)
  • Certified peer engagement
  • Harm reduction education
  • Relapse prevention education
  • Overdose prevention
  • Case management (including assistance with housing, benefits, job search, finding providers within network, among other supports)
  • Initial medical & eligibility assessments
  • Screening for needs and navigation to services to other community agencies
  • Referrals

In addition, Camino Nuevo also hosts a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), which provides integrated, evidence-based, culturally competent services and 24/7 crisis response.
