For over 50 years, Acacia Network and its affiliates have been committed to improving the quality-of-life and wellbeing of underserved communities in New York City and beyond by providing access to integrated health and housing programs, among other key initiatives. Our reach extends across four boroughs in New York City, Buffalo, Albany, and Syracuse in New York State, as well as Florida, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico.

We are currently one of the leading social services organizations in New York City, and the largest Hispanic-led nonprofit in the State, serving approximately 150,000 individuals every year, primarily from Black and Latino low-income communities. Acacia Network’s programs serve individuals at every age and developmental level, from the very young through our daycare programs to mature adults through our senior centers. Our extensive array of community-based services are fully integrated, bilingual and culturally competent, while ensuring easy access and actively incorporating consumer and community level input.

How is Acacia Network Responding to COVID-19?

Given the current COVID-19 public health crisis, we have redoubled our efforts to serve the most vulnerable members of our communities –including our homeless population, the elderly, people of all ages requiring physical and mental health services, as well as individuals suffering from addiction—, while safeguarding the health and safety of our staff, our partners, and our clients.
