Acacia Network’s Youth Development & Afterschool Programming –in partnership with our affiliate, the Community Association of Progressive Dominicans (ACDP)– provides high-quality educational and recreational programming for children and youth to ensure positive outcomes inside and outside of school.
Our integrated model utilizes a holistic approach that seeks to engage the entire family through wrap-around services, such as extended academic enhancement for students, parent workshops, education & workforce development resources, primary and behavioral care, food distribution, among other services.
Our hands-on programs are supported by the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD) and include afterschool and summer programming that actively engage students through science and math activities, cultural projects, individualized tutoring, and special events, such as film-making exhibitions, youth fairs, and health expos.
